I'm trying to get started in D&D, though I've been saying this for the good half of my existence. I meet some people on my campus who seemed willing to teach me but I never got back to them... and one of my friend's friends said that he would show me the ropes once I got back from his military s...

I have Final Fantasy IV, VI, VII, VIII, X, and XII. I might actually have more since IV and VI I bought on the Play Station re-release anthologies (I know at least one of them came with Chrono Trigger, which is also a great game). Never got to actually play Crisis Core, but I pretty much read the en...

Haven't been on here in awhile, but I've still been collecting my share of CDs: "Anastasis" by Dead Can Dance (I bought this at their gig at Millennium Park this past summer that, BTW, WAS STUPENDOUS) Not sure I've mentioned these previously, because I forgot when I exactly got them: "...

I don't really have a taste for ultra-violent movies, but I've been hearing a lot of good stuff about Django Unchained. Most of the "bad stuff" that I hear people complaining about concerns either: a) The prolific use of the N-word b) White people being the evil antagonists Both of which a...

*blinks several times* OW. God, it's been so long since I've been on here. So I'm reintroducing myself... I guess. I'm Carpathian Dark Princess. I should be twenty-something by now, and I'm still in college. Really nothing has changed since I've taken this hiatus. It's part of my New Year's resoluti...

You ought to add Murder By Death, Jay Munly, Woven Hand, and Slim Cessna's Auto Club to the mix too. Love the genre.

Ummmm, wa-lolita??? As far as dressing in Asian dress, so long as one is respectful toward the culture that they their outfit is influenced from, it's fine, although I'm not the ambassador of this so, :P (a lesson from a panel from the World Steam Expo on multiculturalism). (You are talking about tr...

Thanks for the suggestions Lachrymose . I think Lustmord is worth getting into (I have one track by him). I think I need something less on the neoclassical/electronic side and more on the harsh ambient side (less lyrical content, more sound; cathedral-ish), though (but I still love all of the groups...

... Or music similar to The Moon Lay Hidden Beneath a Cloud. They're actually martial industrial/neofolk, but I always like describing them as medieval ambient for their use of archaic languages, chants and instruments, and the medieval imagery, as well as keeping that eerie, esoteric, dark ambience...

This would have totally bypassed me if I hadn't checked my Tumblr. Happy World Goth Day everyone. I, for one, am lounging in my black husband beater (?) and black and purple jersey booty shorts, so that's as gothed up as I am today.

Otherwise, the rest of the day shall be spent playing Castlevania.

Play! Play! Play! (Fan of David Eugene Edwards too!)

Hope you dig medieval folk rock (Even though this track is more Asian influenced).
